Vail & The Pointe (Arizona)

4. What unique perspective do you offer to your customers?

15 years of customer service experience from varying retail organization,-utilizing the “best practices” from each of them-thus developing a “world class” customer service perspective that holds the customer’s best interests at the heart of every transaction.

5. What do your customers like most about you?

Fun and flexible attitude- while always respecting who they are.  I certainly don’t know everything about all of the products and services we offer, but I can always hook them up with one of our experts.  I present to my customers the adage, “The customer is always right!”

6. Describe a memorable situation in which you really had an impact on a customer

One of our customers was going on a ski trip out of the country and had a warranty issue with their skis. The trip was a week away and there was no way the ski was going to be shipped back to the manufacture, fixed and shipped back to the customer in that short time frame. The customer was very upset as they had saved up for several years to afford the trip. I got involved, and while the ski was two years old, made the decision to simply exchange the ski and give them a new one. While I understand we are not saving lives in this business, I was able to put a very large smile on someone’s face that day and make an impact on an issue that was extremely important and vital to them.

7. Favorite sporting event

March Madness!!!!

8. Most memorable moment skiing/golfing?

Skiing-Two years ago during the fall I spent time up in Vail taking private ski lessons with my 12 year old daughter Megan.  Having five children, it was fun having the opportunity to spend one on one time with one of them.  Golf-My father is getting up in age and anytime I can spend the day golfing with him is my most memorable golfing moment.

9. Favorite piece of equipment

An older Taylor Made 3 wood I have refused to abandoned for something new.

10. Favorite accessory or gadget

SkyCaddie

11. Best gift at CSG under $50

We offer so many cool items for under $50.00 I would recommend a CSG gift card.  We’re a big toy store for adults and there is nothing better than walking around the store with a gift card in your hands!

12. Best equipment selection advice

Any Hybrid club that replaces a 3 or 4 iron-it’s like cheating!

13. What do you carry in your ski jacket/golf bag

A must for those of us that find themselves skiing, golfing, or hiking at altitude is a Camel Back Hydration system.

14. Best ski day/golf outing snack/meal

A banana-the “perfect food!”

15. What’s on your play list?

I love some of the older stuff like Van Morrison, Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones.  I also enjoy the newer stuff coming out today-basically any kind of music I enjoy, whether it is rock and roll, country, jazz, blues…you name it, I love listening to it.
